On Thursday, April 11, a delegation from the Technical Education Center of the Vorobyovy Gory State Budget Institution of Moscow (Moscow Palace of Pioneers) visited SAGA Corporation's production facilities on a tour within the framework of the cooperation agreement signed earlier.
The delegation included students of the Technical Education Center, who mastered modern technologies in robotics and digital manufacturing under the guidance of Vladimir Sukhotsky, a teacher of supplementary education. The meeting was also attended by representatives of the Technical Education Center: Head of the Center Maria Salmina, methodologist and supervisor of IT direction Igor Marchak, senior methodologist Alexey Fadeev.
Gennady Taldykin, President of SAGA Corporation, Timur Turgenbaev, Managing Director of SAGA Technologies JSC and Chinara Rasulova, Head of Commercial Department of SAGA Robotics JSC met the guests from the Moscow Palace of Pioneers.
Future specialists in the field of robotics first got acquainted with the metalworking shop and saw the initial cycles of production – cutting, bending, welding, painting, assembly of product bodies, etc. They got acquainted with all the machines and learned the principles of their work.
Then the tour group moved to the assembly shop of finished products of SAGA Technologies JSC, where they carefully examined classic and restyled SAGA ATMs with large screens of 27 and 32 inches, all-weather devices of smart car wash and vandal-proof park machine with the function of cash acceptance and disbursement. Pavel Kholmogorov, Director of Production, told the students as much as possible about the features of such devices.
The program continued at the production facility of SAGA Robotics JSC, where the young technicians were shown bollards for printing equipment “Katyusha”, milled monoblock SAGA X-1900, charging stations for electric cars of SP-22 series in different versions and city fast electric chargers SE-160, as well as a mobile interactive laboratory for school classes in natural sciences.
At the very end of the tour the guests saw the work of a 6-axis welding robot, and then got acquainted with SD1-4-350 training robots and could try to control them with their own hands. Gennady Taldykin solemnly presented one of these robots to the students of the Moscow Palace of Pioneers.
We hope that the delegation of the Center for Technical Education «Vorobyovy Gory» received the maximum possible amount of information about the life of real Russian industries, and the children became even more interested in professions related to robotics and digital production.
We believe that true masters of their craft are brought up from childhood. We will be sincerely glad to continue cooperation with the Moscow Palace of Pioneers, telling students of all ages about our work.
